10 Years of Stegreif – Let's celebrate together!

In 2025, we’ll be celebrating our 10th anniversary, and we invite you to join us for our special concert series, “10 Jahre Stegreif.” With five unique programs and a total of ten concerts in Berlin, we’re thrilled to mark a decade of musical innovation, freedom, revolution, and pure joy with you.

Five Programs, Ten Concerts – The Essence of Stegreif!

Our anniversary series, “10 Jahre Stegreif,” showcases the full diversity and creativity of our ensemble, taking you on a journey through Stegreif’s musical past and present. Each program is a revival of our most memorable moments, highlighting the many facets of our work – from revolutionary ideas and chamber-music intimacy to rousing improvisations and stunning reinterpretations of classical masterpieces.

The anniversary series, “10 Jahre Stegreif,” is a celebration of music, freedom, and togetherness. Whether at Delphi, the Planetarium, the Konzerthaus, or Radialsystem, we look forward to sharing these special moments with you.

#free∃roica: We begin in March at Theater im Delphi with a performative and musical revolution inspired by Beethoven’s Eroica.

#explore_händel: In June, we’ll bring Baroque and jazz together in a unique fusion under the stars at the Planetarium.

#freesolo: In July, at Kühlhaus Berlin, we dive deep into the musical freedom and improvisational artistry that defines Stegreif.

#freebruckner: In October, we celebrate our founding day at Konzerthaus Berlin with a grand performance of a Bruckner symphony.

#feelfree: On New Year’s Eve, join us at Radialsystem – the venue of our first-ever Stegreif concert – for an improvisation-filled finale to our anniversary year.

For us, this birthday series is more than a retrospective of the past ten years. It’s an invitation to look forward together – to celebrate, laugh and experience how classical music can be continually reimagined. All this, as always, without sheet music, without a conductor, and without chairs.

Join us as we reflect on the past ten years and simultaneously lay the foundation for the next. Let’s make this anniversary truly unforgettable – together with you! Let's celebrate Music, Freedom and Community.
