10 Jahre Stegreif - 10 Years of Stegreif
We are celebrating our 10th anniversary in 2025 and invite you to join us for the special concert series “10 Jahre Stegreif”. With five unique programs and a total of ten concerts in Berlin, we want to celebrate a decade full of musical innovation, freedom, revolution and joy of playing.
Five programs, ten concerts - more Stegreif is not possible!
The series showcases the full diversity and creativity of the ensemble and takes you on a journey through Stegreif's musical past and present. Each program is a revival from our history and shows different facets of Stegreif.
The programs are:
#free∃roica: We kick off in March at the Theater im Delphi - a performative and musical revolution inspired by Beethoven's “Eroica”.
#explore_händel: In June, we invite you to the Planetarium, where baroque and jazz merge in a unique way in an intimate atmosphere.
#freesolo: In July, we will take you on a journey into the musical freedom and art of improvisation that characterizes us at Kühlhaus Berlin.
#freebruckner: In October, we celebrate our actual founding day at the Konzerthaus Belrin with a great bruckner symphony.
#feel:free: New Year's Eve party at the Radialsystem! At the venue of the very first impromptu concert, we will conclude our anniversary year with a new program full of improvisation.
For us, the anniversary series is not just a look back, it is an invitation to look into the future together. We want to celebrate, laugh, marvel and experience how we can constantly rethink classical music - without sheets, without a conductor, without chairs - just Stegreif!
