For the danced concert ‘escape valse’ as part of the ‘be:one’ series, Stegreif is working with a choreographer and five dancers for the first time. An absolute novelty for the ensemble!
In order to create a common basis, the musicians and dancers will come together in two 4-day LABs. The aim is to develop joint improvisation techniques and working methods through artistic research into the interaction of dance and music. Both LABs culminate in public workshop visits, to which we cordially invite you!
In the workshop visits, musicians and dancers will present the results of their collaboration. What solutions and methods did they find in the co-operation and opposition of music and dance? What were the challenges? In addition, choreographer Juan Kruz Diaz de Garaio Esnaola and artistic manager Lorenz Blaumer will provide insights into their visions for the development of ‘escape valse’.
