With concerts and presentations by pupils and the Stegreif Orchestra
The UNESCO World Heritage Site ‘Hufeisensiedlung’ is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone with residents and guests from all over Berlin with a colourful festival.
The World Heritage Festival 2025 will take place from July 23rd to 26th July 2025 in the Hufeisensiedlung in Britz-Neukölln - to mark 650 years of Britz and 100 years since the foundation stone was laid. The Hufeisensiedlung is also celebrating a birthday with the 100th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone. Bruno Taut and Martin Wagner built holistic visions in the 1920s. The estate, this worthy monument, which is now a World Heritage Site, is intended to provide the framework for this idea: The idea of community forms the core of the co-operative idea.
We are delighted that Stegreif will be able to offer a varied programme of artistic workshops, transformational concerts and small chamber music sessions in the estate.
To kick off the festival, the Fritz-Karsten School is hosting the OUVERTÜRE on July 23rd from 5-7 pm - with concerts and presentations by the pupils and the Stegreif Orchestra. We look forward to seeing you!
