For the third year running, we have the privilege of helping to shape the musical programme for the Festival of UNESCO World Heritage Settlements (Berlin State Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments). Following our spectacular events at the Schillersiedlung in 2024 (Wedding) and the Hufeisensiedlung in 2025 (Britz), this year, from 27 to 30 August 2026, we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the historic Waldsiedlung Zehlendorf.
Under the theme ‘Architecture in Motion’, we’ll be combining the visionary designs of Bruno Taut, Hugo Häring and Otto Rudolf Salvisberg, as well as those of landscape architects Leberecht Migge and Martha Willings-Göhre, with our very own free-form musical approach. Without any sheet music or chairs, we’ll be performing throughout the heritage site and bringing its history to life through sound.
Look forward to a varied programme: alongside interactive workshop concerts with school pupils, you can expect salon events featuring discussion and music in the neighbourhood, as well as a walking concert. Come along, stroll through the estate with us and experience music as a unifying element of space and community!
