explore_händel presents a fascinating fusion of jazz and baroque, inspired by the masterpieces of George Friedrich Händel. This creative concert performance celebrates improvisation as the connecting element between these two musical eras. Under the direction of Alistair Duncan, a dynamic interplay unfolds that allows Händel's works - from the Concerto Grosso to the famous “Aria Lascia ch'io pianga” - to shine in a new light.
